We’re excited to bring creative opportunities to our students throughout the year! We’ll have more to share soon but here are a couple of the initiatives we’re working on this year.

Art Recess: Once a month, students are invited to join us during lunch recess for a fun, hands-on art project. It’s a chance to explore creativity, try new materials, and enjoy making something special with friends.

Reflections Program: Each fall, students can take part in the National PTA Reflections Art Contest. This program encourages students to express themselves through visual art, music, dance, film, photography, and writing. This year’s theme is “I Belong”, and we can’t wait to see how our Lions bring it to life!

Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

• Unleash creative talents and be inspired

• Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork

• Experience the fun and joy of making art

• Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme

• Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
